George Louis Moore Sr. passed away peacefully at home on February 16,2017 with his wife by his side from a long-term illness. He was born on September 9, 1936 to Kenneth and Solange Moore in Stockton California. He was honorably discharged from the United States Marines after serving in the Korean conflict. After serving in the military he started working for the family business Moore’s Spring Service. He then became an owner operator hauling for Kishida Trucking and T & T Trucking for over forty years until he retired in 2008. He was an avid Giants fan.George is survived by his wife Betty, his children George Moore Jr, Roger A Moore (Lynn) and Michelle Coffee (Ted), his brother Victor Moore. Grandchildren, Justin, Andrew, Samantha, Cortnee, Katherine, Andy, George, Lee, Crystal, Jeremy, Timothy, Karlee, Karlynn, Slater and Jeremiah and six great-grandchildren and the light of his eye his Dachshund Brandy. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Joan Dickhoff and grandson Brandon Mynear.Visitation will be held on Wednesday February 22, 2017 from 3 to 7pm, Services Thursday February 23rd at noon all at Donahue Funeral Home, 123 N. School St, Lodi, CA.
